This Privacy Policy discloses the methods by which Info Nugget, LLC d/b/a Effective Cannabis collects, maintains, uses, and discloses Data provided by Users while visiting the Site. All Data submitted to or collected by Effective Cannabis is governed by this Privacy Policy.

This Privacy Policy applies to the Site and all services and products offered by Effective Cannabis. Info Nugget, LLC (“Company”) is committed to protecting your privacy online. This Privacy Policy describes the personal information we collect through this website at www.effectivecannabis.com, www.effectivecannabisnewsletter.com and www.effectivenewsletter.com (the “Site”).
Use of the Site, including all materials presented herein and all other online content provided by Company is subject to the following Privacy Policy.   1. Effective Cannabis, We, Our or Us: means Info Nugget, LLC, an Arizona limited liability company.
  2. Site or Effective Cannabis.com means the URL represented by https://effectivecannabis.com, https://effectivenewsletter.com, all of its subpages and all web pages hosted by the domain “effectivecannabis.com” and “effectivenewsletter.com.
  3. User means a person, individual or company who, directly or indirectly access the Site by entering the Site’s URL in a web browser or other application.

  5. Data includes the information and answers provided by Users when enrolling or registering as a Member.
  6. Restricted Data means Data which Effective Cannabis has agreed not to share with third parties.
  7. Member means a User who has successfully completed the registration form to become a Study Member, a Pain Member or a Community Member or a ECN Advocate Member.

II. COLLECTION OF DATA

Effective Cannabis collects and uses Users personal Data for the following purposes:

We collect individually identifiable information from Users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Users visit our site, completes a registration form, submits a testimonial, participates in a forum, subscribes to our newsletter, or otherwise makes use of the services, features or resources available on our Site. The information that Members provide about themselves will be shared with Effective Cannabis members, community, and others in an aggregate format (“Shared Data”). The extent to which Data is shared is determined by the User’s membership type. Membership types include Study member, Pain member, Community member, and Doctors. Examples of Shared Data that Members may submit at the Services may include:

A. Shared Data individually identifiable shared with Study members

Study Members provide personally identifiable information about their health, medical condition(s) and Medical Cannabis use that will be shared with the Effective Cannabis Study members (“Shared Data”) and such Data may include:

  • Biographical information, e.g., name, sex, age, location (state);
  • General health information, e.g., medical conditions, Medicine, strains, consumption, products;
  • Treatment information, e.g., cannabis treatment, medications interactions, reduced or eliminated;
  • Symptom information, e.g., severity, changes, duration;
  • all other information that you voluntarily enter, shared via, e.g. Heath Stories Shared, the Green Room forum, Pain in The Grass forum, Journaling or public comments.

Note: If you choose to share your Data anonymously, individually identifiable Shared Data is disclosed to Study members using your registered anonymous name.

B. Shared Data individually identifiable shared with Pain members

  • Biographical information, e.g., first name;
  • All other information that you voluntarily enter, shared via, e.g. Pain in The Grass forum, or public comments.

C. Shared Data individually identifiable shared with Effective Cannabis Newsletter

  • Biographical information, e.g., name;
  • Business information, e.g., name, website, phone number;
  • All other information that you voluntarily enter, shared or submit via, e.g. Google Docs, the Directory, forum, or public comments.

D. Shared Data individually identifiable shared within an aggregate format

All Data may be aggregated and disclosed to third parties, including non-Members by group, e.g., 55 members in zip code 85052. Such Data may include:

  • Biographical information, e.g., sex, ages, location (city/state), zip codes, occupations;
  • General health information, e.g., numbers by medical conditions, Medicine, varieties, consumption, products;
  • Treatment information, e.g., cannabis treatment, medications interactions, reduced or eliminated;
  • Symptom information, e.g., severity, changes, duration;
  • All other information that you voluntarily enter, shared via, e.g. Heath Stories Shared, the Green Room forum, Pain in The Grass forum, Journaling or public comments.

E. Restricted Data

Some of the information that Members enter when registering to use or using the Services will not be shared (“Restricted Data”). Restricted Data may include:

  • Password, as received as part of account registration;
  • Birthdate, as received as part of account registration;

Please keep in mind that if you choose to Share Your Story, your story including your name if you provide non-anonymously — may appear in public advocacy projects. Even if you do not provide your name, keep in mind, unique details about you or others might reveal your identity.

III. STUDY AND PAIN MEMBERS TOOLS

We provide areas on our Site such as Share your Story, Journaling, and forums that allow Users to;

  • Submit personal health experiences;
  • Document cannabis preferences;
  • Connect with others, share experiences, give guidance and focus on treatments.
  • Post experiences with dispensaries, budtenders, doctors, coaches or other establishments, and;
  • Upload. videos, audio files;

Please remember that the Green Room Forum, Pain in The Grass Forum, Journaling, chat rooms, message boards and personal pages are shared services. Your Shared Data will be available to Study Members.

While we encourage openness and transparency, only share content you are comfortable sharing with other members who have signed up for an account on Effective Cannabis. Such postings are governed by our Terms of Participation.

This site is a password-protected site, and your personal content is only visible to those who have signed up for an account.

IV. ECN ADVOCATE TOOLS

We provide areas on our Site such as Effective Cannabis Newsletter, allow Users to;

  • Submit content;
  • Upload. videos, audio files;

V. NON-PERSONAL IDENTIFICATION INORMATION

We may automatically collect non-personal identifiable information about your computer hardware, applications, browser, location and software when you visit our Site.

This information can include:

  • Your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring Site addresses;
  • The number of visitors, what pages are accessed and the length of visit;

Data collected in this manner is used for the operation of the Site and related services, to maintain quality service and to provide general statistics regarding use of the Site.

VI. HOW WE USE SHARED DATA

We may use Shared Data:

  • For research, maintenance and operation of the Services, and to create the best possible tools and functionality for patients;
  • To contact a Member for further details or additional authorization. We may also contact a Member with questions about such Member’s Data;
  • To compile aggregated reports made available to other Effective Cannabis Members. In some instances, this Shared Data is also visible to those not registered to join.

Effective Cannabis (“Non-Study members”)

  • In aggregate form, such as the number of patients per medical condition, specific treatment or a particular symptom benefiting from cannabis. (e.g. by age, state, cannabis treatment, medications reduced or eliminated, and symptom reports).
  • To connect Medical Cannabis patients with the same medical condition, to learn what strains and products have successfully worked.
  • In aggregate, to government agencies or other regulatory bodies to advance legalization. Effective Cannabis does not provide Restricted Data to such regulatory bodies, although we reserve the right to contact Members for follow-up at the request of agencies;
  • To personalize the user experience. The feedback you provide may be used to improve our products and services;
  • To improve customer service. Provided information helps us respond to your customer service requests and support needs more efficiently;
  • We keep track of the websites and pages our customers visit within our Site, to determine what services or information are the most popular.

This data is used to deliver customized content and advertising within our Site to customers whose behavior indicates that they are interested in either a particular subject, disease, course of treatment, product or service.

You may receive periodic email updates from EffectiveCannibis.com. We may use your email address to send User information and updates about Medical Cannabis.

VII. NO WARRANTY AS TO ACCURACY

Effective Cannabis cannot guarantee the identity of any other Members with whom a Member may interact in the course of using the Services or who may have access to a Member’s Shared Data. Additionally, the authenticity of any data that Members may provide about themselves we cannot guarantee.

VIII. COOKIES

We use “cookies” in the user’s browser files to enhance User experience. Cookies are used to track user behavior. Based on the collected data, we can improve our products and services. A user may choose to set their web browser to refuse cookies. If cookies are disabled, portions of the Site may not function properly.

IX. HOW WE PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION

We adopt data collection, storage, processing practices and security practices to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of your personal information, username, password, transaction information and data stored on our Site.

Should you engage in dangerous or harmful activities that violate the reputation of Effective Cannabis, our Users, We may terminate your access without notice. Your account may also be reviewed and terminated for extended periods of inactivity.

We maintain a reasonable standard of security and try to limit information access to individuals who need to have such access to perform their responsibilities associated with our Sites and the Content on our Sites. X. HOW TO CORRECT OR UPDATE YOUR INFORMATION

Some Personal Information may not be changed by you and requires you to contact Effective Cannabis. If any medical information changes, we ask you to keep it updated by contacting us via [email protected].

If you have provided your Personal Information to us, you can update it by logging into your account or contacting us at EffectiveCannabis.com. Although we may provide you with the ability to update Personal Information directly on our Site, some Personal Information may not be changed by you and may require you to contact Effective Cannabis for verification.

XI. BENEFITS vs RISKS

Our goal is to help patients improve medical conditions while sharing how they have used cannabis successfully.

A. Benefits
Sharing one’s Cannabis health story provides the necessary data on how cannabis is successfully changing medical conditions. While research is being denied medical Cannabis, patients are the only ones that can provide data on how health conditions are improving, healing or being cured. Journaling one’s experience keeping track of variety, consumption, medications, and symptoms have been shown to be beneficial in determining proper treatments.

B. Risks 
There are no known risks to using this Site, but there is a possibility that users may feel uncomfortable sharing information online. We give Members the option to choose anonymously or openly to share their story and contribute to the study. It is possible that a Member could be identified using information shared on Effective Cannabis (and/or in conjunction with other data sources). A Member could be discriminated against or experience repercussions as a result of the information shared. For example, it is possible that employers, insurance companies, or others may discriminate based on health information. We give Members the option to share their story anonymously and contribute to the study.

XII. THIRD PARTY LINKS

Our Site may contain or display information from co-sponsors, advertisers, retailers, social networks, operational service providers or other unaffiliated third parties (each, a “Third Party”) that offer to make information, goods or services available, provide opportunities to participate in promotions or engage in activities or that link or redirect your browser to other websites, materials or organizations. We are not responsible for the privacy or data use practices at these external websites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies and terms and conditions for these websites. If you have any questions regarding the information gathering or dissemination activities of other web sites, you should consult the privacy policies and terms of service contained on those websites.

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your Personally Identifiable Information ever. This does not include website hosting partners and other parties who assist us in operating our Site, conducting our business, or serving our users, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. As our company, membership and benefits change from time to time, we expect this Privacy Policy to change as well. Effective Cannabis has the discretion to update this privacy policy at any time and without prior notice, by posting an amended Privacy Policy and terms on this Site. We will indicate at the top of Policy when the latest revisions occurred. We encourage Members to review this policy periodically for any updates.
